Snow Mountain Camp is 85 miles East of Sacramento nestled beneath towering cedar, fir, and pine trees on the shores of stunning Silver Lake. Located just off of Highway 88, the camp is situated at 7200 feet and is surrounded by Mokelumne Wilderness and El Dorado National Forest.

Campers live in rustic platform tents within a short walk to modern bathhouses. We feel that living close to nature is part of a traditional camp experience. The camp is uniquely located on Silver Lake whose gentle breezes are ideal for learning sailing, kayaking, and canoeing.

Additionally, we have an archery range, basketball, and great natural climbing and hiking areas.
